Military families know a thing or two about sacrifice. Not only do you put your life on the line to protect our country, but your entire family is always ready to relocate and start over – new schools, new doctors, new everything. If you have a child with autism, you know the additional challenges that come with the territory. We’re here to help, with step-by-step assistance for all of your autism care needs. Reach out to us to get started. And, of course, thank you for your sacrifice.

Autism Learning Partners has an entire care management team dedicated to supporting our military communities, so that families with exceptional children don’t have to worry about a disruption of services when they receive transfer orders. We provide community trainings and workshops to help support your family’s specific needs. Topics can include anything from increasing communication and expressive language, handling difficult behaviors to positive parenting support and potty training.
Rest assured, we will be there for your child and entire family. It’s what we do!
If you think your child has autism, it’s time to talk to your doctor. Tell them that you have TRICARE, and ask to see a provider who is approved to diagnose autism under TRICARE. Keep in mind that not all physicians are knowledgeable about autism. If you don’t feel like your child’s issues are being addressed, move on and seek a second opinion. Contact a developmental pediatrician, developmental psychologist or psychiatrist for further evaluation. Never be afraid to ask specific questions when making an appointment to confirm that the professional has specific knowledge and experience diagnosing and treating Autism Spectrum Disorder.
