Announcing Our New Early Intervention Program in Texas and Florida!

We create tailored, comprehensive care plans that allow children to achieve their maximum potential.

Because the early years of a child’s life are critical in brain development, it is vital for parents and providers to understand the available evidence based practices, such as Applied Behavior Analysis, and the appropriate service options and treatment settings available.

Developmental Skill Building for Autistic Children

How it Works

  • Center-based with opportunities for social interactions
  • Structured schedule modeled after a typical preschool classroom
  • 1:1 child to Behavior Technician ratio

Natural Environment Teaching

Natural Environment Teaching uses a child’s preferred activities to teach foundational skills. For young children, this is play. Our clinical staff are trained to follow your child’s lead while they play with items and objects and use these as opportunities to teach important skills. For example, while playing with a toy as simple as a farm puzzle, we can teach many skills. Some of which include: pretend play, identifying and labeling the animals and their sounds, requesting more pieces, and turn taking. When new skills are taught using a child’s favorite toys the likelihood of retaining those skills improves.

What Sets Us Apart

  • 1:1 child to Behavior Technician ratio
  • Structured schedule modeled after a typical preschool classroom
  • Parent Collaboration
  • Partnerships with schools, ancillary services, and medical providers
  • Functional Behavior Assessments

We would love to meet you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you diagnose?

Currently, we offer on-site diagnostic services in several of our regions. Please contact our Intake department to confirm if your region offers on-site diagnostic services or to request a list of diagnostic community partners in your area at (855) 295-3276 ext. 276.

Do you have qualified staff?

Yes. Each ALP region employs BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) and master’s level Supervisors who oversee all clinical operations. Additionally, our Behavior Technicians who carry out the daily treatment programs receive a comprehensive training program along with regular supervision, support and ongoing training by our senior clinical staff.

Can I meet the staff (my Behavior Technician) before my child’s treatment begins?

Yes. Your designated clinical supervisor will review our Client Partnership Agreement with you in person and introduce you to our treatment approach. You will have the opportunity to meet the rest of your team as they work with you and become familiar with your child.

Do you require a minimum number of hours?

Yes. We require parents to commit to what is medically necessary for their child to make progress. Your BCBA will prescribe a level of service (number of weekly hours) based on your child’s individual needs that will most likely lead to the best opportunity for behavioral improvements.

Do you provide school-based services?

Yes. If it is considered medically necessary and is a service recommended by your ALP clinical staff, we can. Additionally, your insurance company must approve it and your school must approve ALP staff can be on school premises with your child.

Do you provide services on weekends?

Yes. We regularly provide sessions on weekends. ABA is a daily treatment program and we offer some of those hours on weekends. Before treatment begins, our client services team will inform you about the options that are available and finalize your schedule with you.

Do you provide a blended treatment option (e.g. half in home / half in a clinic)?

At many locations we offer clinic and home-based services, however, not all locations have a clinic at this time. Please reach out to your Intake Coordinator for more information regarding the services that are available in your area.

I already have an ABA provider. Can I only enroll in Social Skills Groups with Autism Learning Partners?

It is possible, but you will need to contact your insurance plan. Many insurance providers do not approve more than one authorization for treatment in this area. Please check with your specific provider for their rules and guidelines.

Do I have to be present while my child is receiving services?

In order for a child to make progress, family participation is a vital component. Your clinical team will recommend a level of participation they determine is necessary. We encourage parents to sit-in on sessions as often as they can. You are not required to participate in all ABA sessions, however, a caregiver over the age of 18 must be at home for the duration of each session. For clinic-based appointments, the child may be dropped off.

Can my BT drive my child around, if needed?

No. Your Behavior Technician can accompany your family for a clinically recommended trip in a family vehicle. BTs are prohibited from driving the child in any vehicle, even if a parent or guardian is present in the car.
